It's my favorite time of the year, meaning candy and costumes! For this Halloween, take your costume to a new level and skip the cliché. Be bold and beautiful with these How-To ideas to make your Halloween a spectacular event!
The cat costume can be so overdone, and every year there are many people who choose to go the ultra-sexy route. However, this Halloween, be edgy when you pair this printed sweater with a pair of printed skinny jeans. Edgy ankle booties with a studded bow will capture the attention of many. Keep the accessories simple yet unique, like these cat studs and cat pendant. For the day time, throw on a cat-ear beanie and a pair of cat sunglasses. And for the night time, wear this mysterious cat mask for a sneaky appeal.
If you're a total fan of Captain Jack Sparrow (or just love pirates), then the Pirate's life is for you! Skip the skimpy, shredded threads and transform yourself into a headstrong and conquering pirate! Combine a white, loose blouse with a pair of harem pants and a stripe vest. Finish the look off with knee-high boots and a wide, waist belt. For the accessories, traditional skull earrings and pirate hat will go great with a fake (or real) pirate sword. Aaaarrrrgggghhh!
Already have a rocking costume, but have absolutely no idea how to tackle your makeup? Here's one way to get the Harlequin look! Using white, or tan powder (something that's at least two or three shades lighter than your skin tone) and dust your face and neck. You will need about two or three layers to get that clown look. Next, using cream or peach eye shadow, cover the lid, crease, and upper crease. Maybelline Color Tattoo shadow will give you a cream-finish look. Instead of black eye shadow, use liner, like Stila Smudge Pot, for that crème finish. Get a little dramatic with the lashes with lots of mascara, and draw designs with liner, like Kohl Liner Extreme by Laura Mercier.
Have fun, loves!

Pretty Princess
You don't see the Princess of Cambridge wearing a huge, poufy pink dress, do you? So for Halloween, pair a purple (the color of royalty) off-the-shoulder dress with burgundy or plum pumps. Finish off the look with a faux fur collar, a tiara headband, and a spritz of Vera Wang Princess.Pirate's Life for Me
