Ways to Wear It: TopShop Two Part Sandals

Ways to Wear: TOPSHOP Two Part Sandals

What I'm loving most about this spring are all the new fashion styles and looks that I'm so eager to try! There are looks that I never thought I would want to try; however, I have a change of heart due to looking at runway shows and editorials. This week on "Ways to Wear It" are a pair of stylish two part heel sandals from TOPSHOP.

Shift + Crossbody

With such warm weather, don't be afraid to break out the sandals (it's officially the right time!) Pair these sandals with a gorgeous shift dress and chain necklace. For a more comfortable and stylish look, carry a crossbody bag and a pair of sunglasses.

Slim Jeans + Navy Blazer

What I realized that the older I get, the more I rather not wear skinny jeans. Tight jeans are hard to maneuver in, not too mention it leaves marks on the sides of my legs. So for this season, if you haven't already, opt out for skinny jeans and pair the sandals with a pair of slim fit jeans. Complete the look with a cropped top and a navy blazer, if it's chilly in class. Don't forget your sunnies!

Blazer + Leather Backpack

This season, I'm definitely investing in skorts! I remember wearing them when I was younger, but unlike shorts under skirts, they're shorts in the back with fabric draped in the front. Pair these sandals with a tartan print skort and a chiffon studded blouse. Complete the look with a leather backpack for hanging with friends at the mall or after class at the local café. Not to mention these amber earrings are so cute!

Get up and get shopping loves!

Ways to Wear It: Cape

Hey loves! Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I may not have gone to a party or Trick-or-Treating, but I had a blast carving pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds with my sisters. Now we must get in preparation for Thanksgiving and the chilly weather. And one style that I believe will catch on are capes (but not the Superman/Batman capes). Capes provide comfort and chicness, as well as warmth for the upcoming winter. Here are a few ways to wear this style!

Knit Cape Sweater

If you're looking for comfort with a little edge, pair a knit, cape sweater with a pair of distressed jeans. Suede boots will keep you feet warm while a knit beret will look effortless. Finish off the ensemble with a leather wrapped bracelet, a wrapped watch, and stone earrings.

Sheer Cape Blouse

When I saw this sheer, cape blouse, I thought how cute this would look in a set! Pair this adorable piece with a midi skirt, like this tartan print skirt. Stick with basic, classy pieces like a pair of ankle strap pumps, a tote bag, and pearl jewelry pieces. As a finishing touch, wrap your hair into a top bun.

Embroidered Cape

Looking for a more daring look for the winter? Pair this embroidered cape with a baroque-print mini-skirt. For extra warmth, wear sweater leggings and boots. Complete the outfit with feather earrings and stack rings, perfect for a rocker chic appeal!

Happy styling for the winter, loves! Remember: layers, layers, layers!

Ways to Wear it: Metallic Pants

Hey dolls! Can you believe it is finally the year 2013? How exciting is that?! This means new beginnings, new trends, and new goals. And let's not also forget new clothes! Going shopping, I was looking for something different and gorgeous, and I came across these metallic pants at Dots. I've been itching to try the metallic style, so I decided to purchase them.

Well, I am here to suggest outfit ideas for those who would love to get a pair, but have no idea on how to style them.

Stud Muffin

Looking for a causal, rocker glam look? Pair the pants with a studded shoulder sweatshirt, a studded cuff bracelet, and spiked-tipped flats. Finish the look with a gorgeous cream clutch.

  Causal Dress

Causally dress these pants up with a plain, white tee and a blazer. Then top the outfit off with cute booties, a bow necklace, and flower earrings.

Daring Diva

Be bold and beautiful when you pair these pants with a bright sweater, like in blue. Then finish the look with a plum beanie, Roxy backpack, Converse, and an elephant pendant necklace (I too have an elephant necklace!)

That's all for now, loves. Have a great day!
