Hey loves! Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I may not have gone to a party or Trick-or-Treating, but I had a blast carving pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds with my sisters. Now we must get in preparation for Thanksgiving and the chilly weather. And one style that I believe will catch on are capes (but not the Superman/Batman capes). Capes provide comfort and chicness, as well as warmth for the upcoming winter. Here are a few ways to wear this style!
Happy styling for the winter, loves! Remember: layers, layers, layers!

Knit Cape Sweater
If you're looking for comfort with a little edge, pair a knit, cape sweater with a pair of distressed jeans. Suede boots will keep you feet warm while a knit beret will look effortless. Finish off the ensemble with a leather wrapped bracelet, a wrapped watch, and stone earrings.Sheer Cape Blouse
When I saw this sheer, cape blouse, I thought how cute this would look in a set! Pair this adorable piece with a midi skirt, like this tartan print skirt. Stick with basic, classy pieces like a pair of ankle strap pumps, a tote bag, and pearl jewelry pieces. As a finishing touch, wrap your hair into a top bun.Embroidered Cape
Looking for a more daring look for the winter? Pair this embroidered cape with a baroque-print mini-skirt. For extra warmth, wear sweater leggings and boots. Complete the outfit with feather earrings and stack rings, perfect for a rocker chic appeal!Happy styling for the winter, loves! Remember: layers, layers, layers!
